IT’S A MYTH that if you touch a baby bird, mama bird will reject it. Research shows it’s not true: if you find a baby bird, it's best to put it back in its nest. The nest with these catbird babies was knocked from a Lansdowne tree, but when humans put the whole nest in a new tree, mama catbird came right back to them! (Photos by Christine Du Bois-Buxbaum).
