It was a Great Earth Day Celebration in Lansdowne Borough!

Many thanks to everyone who volunteered and joined us at our Earth Day Celebration!

Lansdowne Borough Council and Mayor Byrne would like to thank the many residents who volunteered to plant trees and plants, pick up litter, and to volunteer.

Special thanks to Bethel AME and Reverend Speakes for hosting the event, Representative Gina Hackett Curry for her support, the Nile Swim Club for providing the music with DJ Sean, the YMWIC (Young Men and Women in Charge Club) and Cub Scout Pack 63 for the volunteer work.

Also, special thanks to the volunteers of the Environmental Advisory Council, members of the Parks and Recreation Board, and the Shade Tree Commission for continuing to volunteer time to keep Lansdowne and Lansdowne Parks Green.
