Lansdowne Borough Celebrates Pride Month with Flag Raising on June 5, 2021

On Saturday, June 5, 2021, special guests U. S. Representative Mary Gay Scanlon, LGBTQIA+ advocate and State Representative Malcolm Kenyatta from the 181st State District joined members of the Lansdowne community, Council President Benjamin Hover, and Junior Borough Councilmember Nhaomi Lartey to raise the Pride Flag on Borough Greene.

Thank you to Jennifer Hoff and Bill Horton for being guests of honor and working continuously to advocate for LGBTQIA+ equality in Lansdowne, the state, and country. Also, thank you to Bonnie McShane for the donated wreath to brighten the festivities.
