As we celebrate Veterans Day, as your Mayor, I want to thank all veterans for their service and sacrifices that they have made for our country. You are the reason we have our freedom and all the rights we enjoy in this great country. Thank You. One of those rights is exercising our right to vote. I want to thank all Lansdowne residents who came out to vote either in person or by mail. You voted orderly and with a purpose. No matter who you voted for it was true democracy at its best. I want to thank all the volunteer poll workers who spent all day making sure everything was done properly and fairly. Job well done. Now that the election is over we have many things to work on. Things like the the pandemic, racism, the economy, climate change and a divided country. We need to come together and work together to solve these issues as Americans. I think we can do that and I know we need to do that for everyone.
Stay safe, wear a mask and see you around town.
Mayor Tony
