Lansdowne Borough Residents are invited to send us your Black History Month submissions to be featured on social media, in the newsletter and on our website!
On February 2nd, 2022, Lansdowne Borough Council passed a resolution to support the celebration of National Black History Month. Since its incorporation and even before, the Greater Lansdowne community has been and is comprised of a thriving African-American community. To celebrate this history, Lansdowne Borough Council requests poems, essays, and pictures on the 2023 theme of “Black Resistance” for possible publication in our newsletter and social media. Please complete the form BELOW and include your name, age, and a short description of the picture or essay to serve as a caption.
