On February 2nd, 2022, Lansdowne Borough Council passed a resolution to support the celebration of National Black History Month. Since its incorporation and even before, the Greater Lansdowne community has been and is comprised of a thriving African-American community. To celebrate this history, Lansdowne Borough Council requests poems, essays, and pictures on the theme of “Black Wellness and Health” for possible publication in our newsletter and social media. Please complete the form HERE and include your name, age, and a short description of the picture or essay to serve as a caption. You may also upload your images or files using the website form.
