Black History MonthOn February 3rd, Lansdowne Borough Council passed a resolution to support the celebration of National Black History Month. Since its incorporation and even before, the Greater Lansdowne community has been and is comprised of a thriving African-American community. To celebrate this history, Lansdowne Borough Council requests poems, essays, and pictures on the theme of “The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity” for possible publication in our newsletter and social media.
