Meeting Minutes

January 12, 2010

The regular monthly meeting of the Lansdowne Board of Health was held on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 7:00 pm. in Borough Hall. Present were Bertha Phillips, Betsy Riffert and Mike McCall. Absent were Dr. Romney and Councilman Schleigh.

Minutes

The November minutes were approved as submitted, with Al Them approving via email.

Bills

There were no invoices to approve. Inspector Carl Spangler did not inspect during November and did only a handful in December. When I spoke with him, he stated that he will send an invoice in January which will cover the handful of December inspections and the January inspections.

Health Officer’s Report

No report to approve, see above.

Old Business

Home Based Businesses: The Board approved addition to the ordinance and asked Secretary Riffert to present to Councilman Schleigh for the next step. Councilman Schleigh will report next step/progress.
William Penn School District Letter: Member Phillips mentioned that she was speaking with School Board President Charlotte Hummel, who reported that repairs mentioned in letter to Mr. Otto were performed. Ms. Phillips asked that a copy of this letter be sent to Ms. Hummel. That will be done first thing in the morning.
