About Senior Community Services

Enhancing Lives, Preserving Dignity, Presenting Choices

For too many people, growing older means giving up the self-sufficient lifestyle they've always enjoyed. At Senior Community Services (SCS), we're working to change that. With the help of generous donors, SCS is helping older people remain healthier, more active, and more independent than ever before.

Senior Community Services' Mission: To provide independent and meaningful living for older adults through direct services and programs in the home and community.

SCS is a community based organization with over 39 years of experience, four national accredited senior centers, and an abundance of programs directly serving the aging population in the service area of Delaware County. SCS' goal is to continually develop and improve upon a comprehensive, coordinated and accessible system of services responsive to the needs of the aging population within the community. Last year, SCS' programming touched more than 16,000 lives in Delaware County.
